14th International Joint Meeting on Cardiovascular Diseases

Dear Colleagues, Ladies and Gentlemen,

We would like to cordially invite you to the 14th International Joint Meeting on Cardiovascular Diseases – Meet the Expert Symposium at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Individualized Medical Technology and Engineering, Lübeck on June 5, 2026.

It is a great pleasure for me to host and organize this event together with PD Dr. Buntaro Fujita. The aim of this meeting is to take a multidisciplinary look at new developments in cardiovascular medicine and also cultural exchange.

Since its foundation by Kazutomo Minami, Dieter Horstkotte and Xiaocheng Liu, the Society for The International Joint Meeting (SIJM) has frequently met and maintained a vivid scientific and cultural exchange. This year the main focus areas are Structural Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support and Heart Transplantation as well as Interventional Technologies such as TAVI and M-TEER and of course innovations.

We would like to discuss all these focus areas together with you and all the invited experts, focusing on what the various disciplines involved can learn from each other. This is why the invitation to this event is also aimed at all medical professional groups.

There will be a kick off the meeting on Thursday evening, June 4th, 2026, with a “get together” and give all speakers the opportunity for clinical and scientific exchange. Further details on registration and the program can be found in this flyer.
